Debunking the Myth: Mirror, Mirror
Designed to immediately follow Rhyme Like A Girl, a workshop facilitated by Toni Blackman, focused on using hip-hop as a way for girls and women to learn how to honor their voice, Debunking the Myth: Mirror, Mirror encourages self-confidence, leadership skills and healthy lifestyle choices among adolescent girls and young women.

Debunking the Myth: Girls are Not for Sale
A multidisciplinary program, Debunking the Myth: Girls are Not for Sale aims to educate young women and men at high school, college and university campuses about the the commercial sex trade in the United States. Using documentary films that shed light on how girls are seduced, abused and sold into the commercial sex trade in the U.S. as a centerpiece, the program includes a screening and workshop series that encourages participants to take a prominent stand in alleviating the learned behaviors that continue to support the exploitation and degradation of women in the media and local communities.

Debunking the Myth: Culture Clashing
A roundtable series exploring the misconceptions, myths & realities between peoples of the African Diaspora.
